0 Course • 0 StudentBiography
For over 16 years, Aramide Adedeji has stood at the intersection of clinical expertise and community advocacy—helping individuals, families, and systems move from survival to healing, and from pain to purpose. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Aramide’s approach is deeply rooted in empathy, cultural awareness, and the unwavering belief that every person deserves a safe space to be seen, heard, and empowered.
Aramide’s passion for mental health began with her own lived experiences and has grown through working with hundreds of clients navigating trauma, identity, systemic injustice, and interpersonal challenges. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Relations from Michigan State University and her Master’s in Social Work from Howard University, and is licensed to practice independently in Maryland and Washington, DC.
Throughout her career, Aramide has worked across child welfare, education, nonprofit leadership, and clinical spaces—using each role as a platform to uplift marginalized voices. She has led multidisciplinary teams, provided training nationwide, and consulted on issues including foster care advocacy, engaging fathers from culturally competent frameworks, and addressing domestic violence among youth through a clinical lens.
In 2024, Aramide published her debut book, A Whole New World: 8 Strategies for Reclaiming Power and Purpose After Leaving an Abusive Relationship—a guide born from her heart to help survivors reconnect with their strength and story. Whether in therapy sessions, training rooms, or grassroots spaces, Aramide’s goal remains the same: to affirm the inherent worth of every person and to dismantle barriers to healing and wholeness.
Beyond the titles and trainings, Aramide is a champion of community. She pours into local and international efforts to empower Black and Brown girls and women, offering not just services—but sisterhood, strategy, and space to grow.
